We are pleased to announce that The 2014 International Symposium on Frontiers of Technology for the Future: Low Carbon Energy and Life (FoTEL 2014) will be held on June 24-27, 2014 at National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. The aim of this symposium is to explore the current and near future cutting-edge technology in biomedical and energy application, especially the interaction of beam with materials, atoms and biology. We hope this symposium can provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their recent results and development activities in the fields of low carbon energy, biomedical engineering, and nuclear medicine.
This symposium will combine with the 2014 Sow-Hsin Chen Distinguished Lectureship on Neutron Science and Technology. Prof. Chen is world renowned for his enormous contributions to the understanding, both fundamental and practical, of nuclear and material science. In addition, another two Forums, Forum on Nuclear Engineering Education and Forum on Energy Policy will be organized. We cordially invite you to attend these activities and share your experience to the attendees.
Hsinchu city is a high-tech community blessed with mountain and coastal scenery and has become a garden city with birdsong, fragrance, happiness, abundance, and health. It is an energetic city blended with modern technologies and historical cultures.
